The Story of Parkstone Interiors |
Parkstone Interiors was created
in 2003, by Joanne Nathanail; but the idea was born many years
before.
|
When an opportunity arose to start her own business in 2003,
Joe seized it and established the business named after her home,
in the small village of Bletchingley, in Surrey. It is backed up
by her Textiles ‘A’ Level, Honours Degree, and an Interior
Design Diploma (from the National Design Academy). She has also
attended soft furnishings courses run by the prestigious Merrick & Day
Academy.
|
In the sixth form at School, Joe excelled at Economics & ‘Textiles & Dress’ (needlework).
In an effort to pursue both subjects, she studied ‘Textile
Management’ at Leeds University, and graduated with an honours
degree in 1990.
|
While studying, Joe had raised extra money by making curtains
for her Mother’s friends and neighbours, and by taking a
Saturday job with Laura Ashley in their Home Furnishing store.
The business is therefore founded on more than 20 years of experience.

Majority of our projects are, in Kent, Surrey & West Sussex.
We have been delighted to supply soft furnishings for Tonbridge
Castle in Kent, and Burrows Lea Country House, near Shere, Guildford.
